Thank you for your interest in sending a carepack to a resident in Galway – you do not have to choose the county you live in, you can send a carepack to any county! Please do not request a resident if you do not intend to follow-through and post / hand deliver a carepack. Check the FAQ for more information.
We are using a shopping cart process to assign residents efficiently, but of course there is no cost to get assigned a resident’s name. On completion of “purchase” – you will immediately receive an email with your resident name or gender and address of the nursing/care home where they live. Please send your carepack to the address as it appears in your email.
Please immediately check your email for the Resident information as the email is automatically sent from our website. Keep this email safe as it cannot be retrieved at a later time. It is very important that you enter your email address correctly. If you cannot find your email, please check your junk and spam folder and move it to your inbox (emails left in the spam / junk folder will auto-delete).
Lost emails cannot be retrieved so please take every precaution to write down your resident information and keep it safe so that you can post / hand deliver your carepack and your resident is not disappointed.
If a county shows up Unavailable / Out of Stock it means all residents are already matched up, this will fluctuate as residents sign up and are assigned. It is advisable to choose a resident from another county that is available as residents tend to be assigned very quickly. Please refer to the HOME page to see if the campaign has ended for this year.
